I am so excited to share with you my first beauty haul. As a college student it’s pretty hard for me to indulge and purchase all of the hair and beauty products I want to. Typically my money goes to school related things, makeup, and clothes. Recently, I noticed I was low on hair products and thought it was the perfect time to indulge in some new products to try. I wanted to share with you several things I brought. I purchased hair products from Sally’s and a face wash from Walmart.
Eden Body Works: Coconut Shea All Natural Cleansing CoWash, 16 oz., $8.99
I’m so excited to share with you is this amazing product. My hair is natural and sometimes gives me a hard time. I have curly hair that tends to be very dry. When it comes to cleansing my hair, I stay away washing my hair with a basic shampoo maybe once a month, because they tend to dry out my hair even more. The Coconut Shea Cleansing CoWash is sulfate free (doesn’t dry out hair) and is paraben free. This product is a “gentle cleansing conditioner cream that removes residue and buildup between washings to promote a healthy hair environment for growth.” I can honestly say I love this product. After I wash it out I notice that my hair is not super dry and it has the right amount of slip. I personally don’t mind that it doesn’t create suds. After every wash I can see that my hair is no longer dirty or oily. This product was super cheap and delivered great results. Also, if you purchase from Sally’s it’s a litter cheaper with a Sally’s card.
Eden Body Works: Coconut Shea All Natural Pudding Soufflé, 16 oz., $8.99
Since I’ve been wearing my hair natural a little more, due to my gym schedule, I thought it was important to purchase a type of styling cream. As said before my hair is very dry and frizzy, however I didn’t want a product that would weigh down my hair. The Coconut Shea Pudding Soufflé “adds moisture to dry, thirsty tresses using an exotic blend of all natural ingredients formulated to reduce frizz, enhance textured styles, and provide a soft, shiny finish.” I’m sure this will be a great product. However, today is the first time I’ve used the product so I will definitely do a review a few weeks into using this pudding.
I’ve used Biotera products a few times and I am not disappointed. After purchasing this reconstructing conditioner I’ve noticed a difference in my hair. After using, my hair is always soft and moisturized. I straighten my hair pretty often, so it’s important to do it in the safest say and to take care of my tresses while doing so. I love to make sure my hair is hydrated to promote hair growth and because NO ONE wants dry ass hair. The Biotera Ultra Moisturizing Reconstructing Conditioner deeply conditions, strengthens and repairs hair leaving it healthy, strong & lustrous. So like I said, if you have super dry, damaged, or chemically treated hair this product is for you! Remember, if you have a Sally’s card you can get for $11.99!
St. Ives: Nourished And Smooth Oatmeal Scrub + Mask, 6 oz., $4.59
So, ever since I was in high school I have always used St. Ives products. My skin is super dry and tends to peel a lot. In search of a new face wash to take care of those products, I didn’t think twice before purchasing this product. The St. Ives Nourished And Smooth Oatmeal Scrub + Mask is fantastic! It’s gentle enough to use every day, yet it gets the job done in one try. I’m all about natural products and this scrub combines oatmeal extract with 100% natural exfoliates. This scrub/face wash will be perfect for the summer when your skin is dry and peeling. I couldn’t find this product on Walmart’s website, so here’s an alternative. You can purchase it at Target for the same price!
I really hope you enjoyed my first haul. It was fun sharing the products I decide to spend my money on and if they’re worth it or not.
